Introduction

I love all dogs, and I am particuarly biased towards the larger breeds. My heart belongs to the Rhodesian Ridgeback and my family and I have been blessed to have had Pepsi in our lives, and more recently, Nico, our first rescue and our first male. Nico came into our lives when he was 18 months old on the 29th September 2011, after previously living in a small flat with people that didn't understand him. He's improved so much, and while he still has the odd 'red mist' moment, he is without doubt, our little (large!!) lovebug. He's the hunk in my display picture

Home is Kent, so a long way from the other forum users, and consists of Mum, Dad, brother, two ferrets ('the boys') and two tortoises (Ted and Clover).

When i'm not looking at dogs, reading about dogs, thinking about dogs or wanting another Ridgeback, I can usually be found with my head in a book (currently rereading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak which is the only thing that rivals my love of the Ridgeback), working or watching the History channel. Clearly, I am a cool chick. I'm also an administrator for this forum
