This is my beloved dog Brit (a very common name for a dog in the Czech Republic, I am afraid, lol). However, he was known to everyone in the family just as Pooch. He was a dachshund/beagle cross and we got him from a rescue in Prague back in 1999. He was very poorly then, just skin and bones, suffering from a very bad skin condition. With loads and loads of TLC he blossomed into the most amazing and loving dog I have ever met and we had 11 wonderful years together. Sadly, he passed away from cancer on 11 September 2010, some six moths after finally joining us in Britain, following a prolonged period of separation due to PET Scheme issues. He left a huge hole in our lives and we all miss him very much.Brit 2130594522

lol! He certainly was very good at this type of pose, we used to call him his imperial poochieness sometimes because of it lol! . You should see his pet passport photo or my husband's FB profile pic, he looks positively imperial there as well. x wag
