I have a labrador and a lab x rottie .... agility in this house is who can sniff the crotch of the unsuspecting caller at the door the fastest ..... I have watched agility on the telly but has anyone actually done it with their dogs? It must surely keep both dog and owner very fit

Hi Jules,
I have started a foundation course of Agility with Jess we start again on 17th it is brilliant fun , keeps the weight off (now that I have lost enough to run) & the dogs love it. The club that I belong too is too far for you I know but if you were interested I can ask if they know of one in your area.

We are not going to be ultra competitive BUT at our fun doggy Xmas party Jess & I completed a whole course & boy did it feel good ...all the training coming good. However it will not stop the crotch sniffing Jess is just faster to the victim!!!!

Thank you for that - I can't imagine my lump of a dog learning flyball lol but it was more as a general question for people tryign to find new things to do with active dogs and in particular lurcher and collie breeds.

I am glad that you enjoy it as well as Jess, but you really must stop with the crotch sniffing! Very Happy
