The Malverns - Midsomer Hill to British Camp and back
Yes, this was last year as well - Angie was the foster dog again... but we were joined by Layla who was my first foster dog (pre- FDR)
At the start of the walk - we headed off to the Eastnor Castle Estate Obelisk from Midsomer Hill - see http://www.countrywalkers.co.uk/summerhill.html for more information.
Yes .... that IS Layla laying in the muddy puddle!
The lovely walk in the bracken that should not have been (yes, we took a wrong turn somehow, adding plenty to the journey)
The final climb to the summit and the views all around us from the top - it was amazing - completely panoramic
The next hill on the way back:
We could hear the festival "The Big Chill" coming from Eastnor Castle and from this point we could see it too:
From the top of hill 3 we could just see the Obelisk in the distance through all of the trees
It was a lovely walk and one where the dogs were off lead for a lot of the way.

Sorry I hadn't realised the threads were from last year, just thought my word you are energetic! Looks another stunning walk. Glad there was only a festival to contend with and not a murder!!!!
